English Conversation Group
Our English Conversation Group was started to help those arriving from Hong Kong to settle here who felt their English needed improving. It is not a class but rather an opportunity to talk in small groups led by a local English speaker from our church.
We have a wide variety of topics of and types of conversation which might be of interest to participants, as well as some language games and occasional trips out to local places of interest.
We meet on Monday mornings 9.30am to 11am during school term times at St Stephen’s church.
Although the group is aimed at new arrivals from Hong Kong, others who would like to improve their English conversation skills are welcome.
