Kouadio (Neek) N’dri
I came to Birmingham to complete my BSc in Geology at University of Birmingham from 2015 to 2019. I was firstly introduced to St Stephen’s through a garden party for international students. I am thankful to God for that.
St Stephen’s has been an important part for me being at university. I often tell people that I would gladly live and work in Birmingham just to be part of the church family. Two things that have deeply impacted my life from St Stephen’s are the Bible teaching and the love that I have experienced being part of the church family. In fact, I was first introduced to expository preaching, that is, preaching which explains what the Bible says, and this allowed me to learn more about what some Bible passages truly mean and how I can apply them in my life. Secondly, I was touched by the kindness and love of God demonstrated by many members of the church. There is hardly a Sunday I was not invited for a nice meal after the service. I always thank God for their invaluable support at both social and spiritual level.
Happy 150th Anniversary to St Stephen’s!
