Serving
Jesus said that he “did not come to be served, but to serve,” and so we encourage everyone in the church family to serve in the best way they can, according to their gifts, skills, availability and other responsibilities.
Ways to Serve
There are some areas in which you can serve almost straight away: refreshments, welcome, music, ‘tech.’
We normally encourage people to be part of the church family for about six months before taking on significant pastoral responsibility which involves teaching others.
